My Favorite Detoxes

Not in any particular order, here is a list of my favorite detoxes:

  • Sleep

  • Water (drinking water)

  • Fresh air (including sunshine and nature)

  • Elimination (bathroom necessities :) )

  • Exercise

  • Prayer Sabbath observance

  • Regularly worshiping with my faith community

  • Intermittent fasting

  • Bathing

I may explain some of these more in a later blog, but, for now, these are my favorites and are very effective to detox harmful or unpleasant things out of me. Detoxing is closely associated with other concepts such as cleansing and replenishing. Some of my detoxes are daily rituals, others more weekly or bi-weekly.
