A 50 year study of Swedish men suggests different things that can lead to a long life (http://www.worldhealth.net/news/how-live-100/) including not smoking, good cholesterol levels, coffee in moderation, physical fitness during middle age, owning a home, and a mother who lived a long life. Interesting and good to know.
The Bible also has suggestions on how to live a long and healthy life including obeying and honoring your parents (Ephes. 6:1-3), righteous living (Prov. 16:31), a mouth that speaks truth and not evil (1 Peter 3:10), following God’s ways (Deut. 5:33), and a trusting and personal relationship with God (Psalm 91:1-16). Very good to know! Following Jesus can have lots of practical benefits.
